Kaprije je mali otok površine 7,11 kilometara kvadratnih, a nalazi oko 15 km jugozapadno od Šibenika. Nazvan je po mediteranskoj biljci kapara, čiji pupoljci služe kao začin.
Jedino naselje na otoku također se zove Kaprije, a okružuju ga brežuljci od kojih je najviši Velika glavica (129 m).
Na otoku nema automobila, a do njega je moguće doći jedino morskim putem, odnosno trajektom ili hidrogliserom iz Šibenika (ili vlastitom brodicom, koju imate gdje vezati). Kaprije je većim dijelom nenaseljen pa ćete ovdje stvarno uživati u privatnosti, miru i tišini.
Na otoku se nalazi 20-ak uvala od kojih je najpoznatija Luka sv. Petra, ujedno glavna i najveća uvala u kojoj je smješten priobalni dio naselja Kaprije. Osim nje ističe se i uvala Mala Nozdra smještena jugoistočno od naselja, a do koje vodi uređen put. U uvali postoje vezovi za jahte i restoran u kojem se možete osvježiti pićem ili nešto pojesti.

Kaprije is a small island with an area of 7.11 square kilometers, located about 15 km southwest of Šibenik. It is named after the Mediterranean caper plant, the buds of which serve as a spice.
The only settlement on the island is also called Kaprije, and it is surrounded by hills, the highest of which is Velika glavica (129 m).
There are no cars on the island, and it can only be reached by sea, i.e. by ferry or hydrofoil from Šibenik (or by your own boat, which you have somewhere to moor). Kaprije is largely uninhabited, so here you will really enjoy privacy, peace and quiet.
There are about 20 bays on the island, the most famous of which is the Port of St. Petra, at the same time the main and largest bay where the coastal part of the Kaprije settlement is located. In addition to it, the Mala Nozdra bay located southeast of the village, to which a well-maintained road leads, stands out. KAPRIJE STEINVILLA AN DER KÜSTE
Kaprije ist eine kleine Insel mit einer Fläche von 7,11 Quadratkilometern und liegt etwa 15 km südwestlich von Šibenik. Benannt ist es nach der mediterranen Kapernpflanze, deren Knospen als Gewürz dienen.
Die einzige Siedlung auf der Insel heißt ebenfalls Kaprije und ist von Hügeln umgeben, von denen der höchste Velika glavica (129 m) ist.
Auf der Insel gibt es keine Autos, und sie kann nur auf dem Seeweg erreicht werden, d. h. mit der Fähre oder dem Tragflügelboot von Šibenik aus (oder mit Ihrem eigenen Boot, an dem Sie irgendwo festmachen können). Kaprije ist größtenteils unbewohnt, sodass Sie hier wirklich Privatsphäre, Ruhe und Frieden genießen können.
